At Cotswood Kitchens we are very flexible in our approach to kitchen design. We can begin in our Surbiton kitchen design showroom if you have drawings for us to work from, or else if you prefer, we can visit you at home to measure up on your behalf.

From here, we begin with a ‘Fact Finding’ meeting, where we kindly ask that all decision makers are present so we can ask questions around your needs and lifestyle. For example, we would ask how everyone uses the kitchen, how often you shop, and what your cooking style is like.

We will always listen to what you say you want, and help you work this out if you’re unsure, being on hand to explain or answer any questions you have.

Once we have gathered all the necessary information, we can begin to design a kitchen in line with your vision, but equally important we will include styles, finishes and appliances which fit within your project budget.

Through years of experience in designing kitchens we have superb technical knowledge, and know we have the initiative, creativity, and skill to come up with your perfect design. 

Once ready, we will invite you back to our kitchen showroom to present your designs to you.

Here, you will see your proposed kitchen in full colour and with full costings, and you will have the opportunity to discuss or else begin finalising decisions. We can make any requested edits, and only once you’re happy will we proceed in placing your new kitchen order.

Please note for all designs we also offer a Virtual Reality tour of your new kitchen. This is available on request so please let us know at the time of your first meeting if you think you would like to experience your new kitchen in VR! 

To ensure a seamless kitchen installation we are very thorough in our processes, offering up to 4 design checks throughout the process to ensure all measurements, elevations and points of service are correctly located ahead of the kitchen fitting.

This process also includes a site survey carried out by the fitter. A further benefit is that all clients will retain their designer as their same point of contact throughout the process from beginning to end. Ahead of work starting they will explain the coming process and provide a site-preparedness checklist to make the scope of works clear, along with designated responsibilities.  

For most of our clients, we carry out dry-fit kitchen installations, using our highly experienced and professional kitchen fitters to complete works. At the end of this, the designer will complete a final check on site and ensure everything is as it should be. You will receive a 1-year guarantee on your installation works.
